General Terms and Conditions of Dingdong Nederland B.V.

2. Services
Dingdong Nederland B.V. offers a mobile application (“the App”) through which individuals seeking accommodation and householders with an available room can find each other. In addition, we manage a website that serves to promote our company and to redirect users to the App Store and Google Play Store. It is not possible to search for rooms or housemates via the website.
Dingdong Nederland B.V. cannot guarantee that users will find accommodation or a housemate. Nor can we guarantee that the accommodation or housemate found will be suitable. Users themselves are responsible for making arrangements with other users.
3. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to the use of the App and the website of Dingdong Nederland B.V. By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
4. Terms of Use
The App is available to users within and outside the Netherlands. Since the objective is to find accommodation in the Netherlands, Dutch law shall apply. Legal disputes shall be resolved by a court of law in the Netherlands to be determined at a later stage.
The use of the App is free of charge. Charges apply for additional features and services, such as subscriptions and individual likes.
To use the App, users must be at least 16 years of age. Users under the age of 18 require the explicit consent of a parent or guardian. Users over the age of 18 do not require such consent.
Users are obliged to provide correct and up-to-date information upon registration and during the use of the App.
5. Payments
Prices for Dingdong Premium + subscriptions:
1 week: €1.99 including VAT.
1 month: €3.99 including VAT.
3 months: €9.99 including VAT.
Subscriptions must be paid for immediately upon purchase and subscriptions will be renewed automatically, unless the user cancels the subscription at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date via the settings in the App Store or Google Play Store. After cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Users can manage or cancel their subscription at any time via the App Store or Google Play Store settings.
Payments are processed via Google Pay and Apple Pay.
If you wish to reactivate a previously purchased subscription, you may do so via the **'Restore Subscription'** option in the app when purchasing a subscription.
6. Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital purchases such as subscriptions and individual likes, as delivery takes place immediately.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent to the immediate delivery of digital services and waive your right of withdrawal.
7. Use of the App
Users must use the App solely for legitimate purposes.
The posting of incorrect, misleading, or inappropriate content is prohibited.
Dingdong Nederland B.V. reserves the right to block or delete accounts in the event of misuse or violation of these terms and conditions.
8. Liability
Dingdong Nederland B.V. is not responsible for agreements or arrangements made among users themselves.
We make every effort to provide a secure environment, but do not guarantee complete protection against undesirable behavior.
Dingdong Nederland B.V. is not liable for any damage, direct or indirect, arising from the use of the services, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
In the event of indirect damage, such as loss of profit, data, or business opportunities, Dingdong Nederland B.V. cannot be held liable.
Dingdong Nederland B.V. does not guarantee that users will find a housemate or accommodation, nor that the housemate or accommodation found will be suitable.
9. Force Majeure
Dingdong Nederland B.V. is not liable for any damage or delay in the performance of its obligations if such is the result of force majeure.
Force majeure shall be understood to mean any situation beyond the reasonable control of Dingdong Nederland B.V., including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, disruptions in telecommunications or internet systems, or technical defects beyond our sphere of influence.
In the event of force majeure, Dingdong Nederland B.V. shall notify the user of the delay or cancellation of the services and shall endeavor to offer a solution as soon as the situation permits.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights to the App, website, and content belong to Dingdong Nederland B.V.
Users may not copy, distribute, or use any parts of the App or website without prior written consent.
11. Privacy
The use of the App is subject to our privacy policy, which states how we handle personal data. Please consult our privacy policy for further information.
12. Applicable Law
These general terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
13. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions
Dingdong Nederland B.V. reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Amendments will be communicated via the App or website and shall take effect 30 days after publication.

Dingdong Nederland B.V. cannot guarantee that users will find housing or a roommate. Nor can we guarantee that the found accommodation or roommate will be suitable. Users are responsible for making arrangements with other users.
3. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the App and the website of Dingdong Nederland B.V. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
4. User Terms
The App is available to users both inside and outside the Netherlands. Since the goal is to find accommodation in the Netherlands, Dutch law applies. Legal disputes will be decided by a court in the Netherlands, as determined later.
The use of the App is free. Additional features and services, such as subscriptions and individual likes, incur costs.
To use the app, users must be at least 16 years old. Users under 18 need explicit permission from a parent or guardian. Users over 18 do not require this permission.

Force majeure includes any situation beyond the reasonable control of Dingdong Nederland B.V., such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, telecommunications or internet system failures, or technical issues outside our control.
In case of force majeure, Dingdong Nederland B.V. will notify the user of the delay or cancellation of services and will attempt to provide a solution once the situation allows.
