We have all experienced it: you search for a new roommate, post a message online, and receive 150 responses. Chaos. No overview. No sense of who is truly a proper match.

That is why we are building Dingdong: the ultimate platform to easily find your perfect roommate. With our application, we render the search for a room or roommate more social, smarter, and above all, more enjoyable.

We are experiencing rapid growth and are fully engaged in enhancing our product and the complete rebranding of Dingdong. Therefore, we are seeking someone to elevate our design to the next level. 🚀

🎨 What will you do?

This summer, you will collaborate intensively on the UI/UX of Dingdong. You will work directly with Henco (founder & responsible for product/design) on the next phase of our application and branding.

This includes:

• Improving flows within the application

• Developing new screens and features

• Contributing insights on UX and user behavior

• Translating our new branding into product design

• Assisting in maintaining a consistent look & feel for Dingdong

• Possibly performing minor front-end tasks (a plus)
  
  

The assignment has a maximum duration of three weeks and can be performed either on a freelance (ZZP) basis or as an employee.

👉 In the event of a successful match, an internship position in the field of UI/UX + front-end may be available from September through February.

🧠 About you

• You possess a demonstrable portfolio of UI/UX work

• You have an affinity for modern applications, branding, and user experience

• You work independently and contribute proactively

• You enjoy startups, building, and rapid adaptation

• You understand how Gen Z uses and experiences applications

• You are creative, yet you also value structure and clarity

Bonus points if you:

• possess a background in CMD (Communication and Multimedia Design)

• have experience with Figma

• have an affinity for front-end/design systems

• are interested in branding and social-first design
