🔔 Dingdong is seeking a UI/UX design intern

You know the feeling: you are looking for a new housemate, post a message online, and receive 150 responses. Chaos. No overview. No sense of who really suits you.

That is why we are building Dingdong: the premier platform to easily find your perfect housemate. With our app, we make searching for a room or housemate more social, smarter, and above all, more enjoyable.

We are growing rapidly, now have tens of thousands of users, and are fully engaged in the next phase of our product. Therefore, we are looking for an enthusiastic CMD intern who wants to help build with us.

🎨 What will you do?

As a UI/UX & Product Design intern, you will participate fully within our product team. You will work directly with Henco (founder & responsible for product/design) and will have plenty of autonomy to develop ideas and make an impact.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

Improving user flows within the app
Designing new screens and features
Developing wireframes, prototypes, and designs in Figma
Translating our branding into product design
Providing support with front-end implementations (if desired)

You will be given significant responsibility and will see your designs actually go live for thousands of users.

🧠 This is you

You are pursuing a degree in the direction of CMD, UX Design, Digital Design, or similar
You have a sense for user-friendly interfaces
You understand that marketplace apps are a specialty and require specific decisions
You are inquisitive and enjoy solving problems
You work independently, but also actively seek collaboration
You enjoy experimenting and dare to propose ideas
You enjoy startups, building, and operating in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you have:

Experience and/or knowledge of marketplaces
Basic knowledge of front-end development
An affinity for Gen Z products and social-first design
